About This Stitch
Supplies Needed
- Yarn
- I recommend a 4/Medium weight yarn for beginners. Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn is a great one to start out with.
- Crochet Hook
- Most medium weight yarn calls for a 5.0 or 5.5 mm Crochet Hook. If you aren’t sure you’re going to like crocheting enough to keep doing it, then I would suggest just purchasing one hook to try it out. If you plan to keep crocheting then it’s worth investing in a good set. I highly recommend the Clover Amour Crochet Hooks
. Those are the ones I use and they are hands down the best crochet hooks I’ve ever laid my hands on. Click here
to check them out on Amazon.

- You will need a yarn needle for weaving in your ends on finished crochet projects.
